Fungus & Frogs
in collaboration with Green Goat Ranch
In the shadowed quiet of a Vermont forest, something beautiful is growing.
Fungus and Frogs is a collaborative yarn collection between Green Goat Ranch and Yankee Rock Farm, featuring local Border Leicester wool spun from Siri’s flock and hand-dyed by Sarah in six deeply tonal colorways. The base yarn is naturally soft grey, woolly, and just a bit wild which gives every color an extra layer of richness, like light passing through mist or moss clinging to stone.
This collection isn’t about fairy-tale royalty or spellbooks. It’s for the girls who live in the woods, who listen to frogs and walk barefoot on damp leaves, who bring a basket and come home with lichen instead of roses. It’s a celebration of the overlooked magic in wet logs, pond gleams, and mushrooms you can’t quite name. Whether you’re knitting a shawl or cozy socks to wear while wandering under ferns, these skeins carry the stillness and shimmer of places just off the trail.
From twilight blues to fungal lilacs, sunny frog bellies to moss-dark shadows, Fungus and Frogs invites you to stitch a little wild into your making. Local wool, dyed with care, full of depth, and spun from the heart of your biome.
