Serving flocks of all sizes in Vermont, southern New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. Midwest schedule closed to new flocks.

Our specialty is sheep but we shear a few hundred goats per year as well. We do not shear llamas or alpacas.

Prices & Policies

Flocks Less than 50 Head

  • $70 set-up fee

  • $8-12/head

Our minimum charge is $150, so if the total charge would add up to less than $150 (4 or 5 sheep for example) we will charge $150.

Flocks of 50-99 Head

  • $50-70 set-up fee

  • $5-7/head for adults

  • $4-5/head for lambs

Flocks of 100 and Up

  • $5/head

  • $4/head for lambs

If you cancel the day before or the day of an appointment, we will charge a $50 missed appointment fee.

We reserve the right to refuse to shear in unsafe conditions. If we show up for an appointment and sheep are not penned, not dry, and not fasted we will charge a $100 missed appointment/travel fee.

Clear communication is much appreciated! We work hard to plan travel and fit in as many flocks as possible then spend long days driving and shearing. Please communicate changes far in advance and respect that we can’t be on the phone while driving or shearing.
